“Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.” ― Keith Richards

HISTORY OF MUSIC

In early history the first forms of music are by using drum-based, percussion instruments being the most common to use at that time (i. e. rocks, sticks). The evolution of music instruments was slow and steady. As time goes by they developed some instruments they used in music. And one of the most popular instruments today was created in 1500 BCE by the Hittites. I am talking about the guitar. Surely, this was a great step, the use of frets to change the pitch of a vibrating string would lead to later instruments such as the violin and harpsichord.

In 800 BCE the first recovered piece of recorded music was found. It was written in cuneiform and was a religious hymn. It should be noted that cuneiform is not a type of musical notation.

By 700 BCE there are records of songs that include vocals with instrumentals. This added a whole new dimension to music: accompaniment.

KARAOKE WAS INVENTED

KARAOKE is a form of interactive entertainment or video game developed in Japan in which amateur singer, sings along with recorded music (a music video) using a microphone. The music is usually an instrumental version of a well-known popular song. Lyrics are usually displayed on a video screen, along with a moving symbol, changing color, or music video images, to guide the singer. In several Asian countries such as China, Cambodia or the Philippines, a karaoke box is called a KTV. The global karaoke market has been estimated to be worth nearly $10 billion.

Nowadays, it’s very convenient to sing a song, using the high tech version of KARAOKE. By just downloading an app on your phone, desktop, laptop and etc., you can already access it easily wherever you are, whenever you want, and whoever you are. But the only obstacle to people who wants to use it is that they need to pay for the app.
